The Braintree Historical Society, in partnership with the Chandler Center for the Arts and the Ridgeline Outdoor Collective are pleased to announce that the Braintree Bluegrass Brunches will return to the Braintree Hill Meetinghouse beginning Sunday June 25.
The day begins with a group bike ride at 10am leaving from the Meetinghouse. The grounds will be open at 11am with kids activities, tours of the Historical Society’s Museum, food and craft vendors, and music, beginning at noon, by Mark Burds & Brian Carroll followed by Still Hill.
The concert series is not ticketed but pay-what-you-can donations will be accepted both before and during the events. Proceeds after expenses will be split between the three organizations to help them carry-out their missions.
Subsequent Brunches will be held on July 30th and will feature Patti Casey & Colin McCaffrey followed by Doug Perkins Patrick Ross & Jim Whitney and August 27th featuring Ida Mae Speaker & Heavy Nettles followed by Audrey Mae.
